Abstract

Although there are single Egyptian values and common customs and traditions, there are a number of differences in clothing from one region to another, and within the framework of the state’s keenness to revive folklore and preserve the authentic Egyptian artistic heritage, the National Orchestra for Folk Music and Religious Chanting called on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to provide What the band needs in terms of costumes, as the costume plays an essential role in the band’s performances The researcher designed the costumes and supervised their implementation within the sector’s workshops. The costumes are characterized by a set of special characteristics that express the Egyptian society and reflect its heritage, customs and traditions, which differ from one governorate to another, in addition to relying in designing the costumes on the lines of the show uniform, which must be present in Its design has special features that enable artists to move easily and gracefully and highlight motor performance, in addition to diversity in shape, colors, material, and richness in embroidery to achieve the element of dazzle, in addition to commitment to traditional values.
