Abstract

Hajj and Umrah hold a significant place in the hearts of Muslims, and assisting pilgrims and Umrah performers by providing comfort and care is a noble trait of a virtuous Muslim. The research aims to design an inner belt that covers the lower part of the body for male pilgrims and Umrah performers according to Sharia guidelines. This belt aims to protect male pilgrims and Umrah performers from the discomfort caused by friction between the thighs and the surrounding area, in addition to evaluating consumer opinions regarding the functionality of the implemented belt. The research adopts a descriptive approach through an applied study. The study demonstrated a correlation between the increased duration of wearing the inner belt that protects male pilgrims from friction and the evaluation of the actual experience of wearing the product. Additionally, the study found a correlation between the participants' inclination to wear a certain type of undergarment for protection during the pilgrimage and the evaluation of the 'Inner Belt that Protects Male Pilgrims from Friction.' Similarly, a relationship was established between the participants' experience of discomfort due to friction during long walks while performing Hajj or Umrah and their assessment of the 'Inner Belt that Protects Male Pilgrims from Friction.' The study recommends making improvements to the product based on the evaluation of the studyparticipants.
