Abstract

The current era is witnessing a profound shift in occupational safety concepts, driven by the digital revolution and artificial intelligence technologies. This research highlights the potential of integrating graphic design with intelligent systems to develop a new generation of interactive guidance signage. The study adopts a comprehensive methodology to analyze how safety systems can benefit from technologies such as motion sensing, adaptive lighting, and intelligent voice interaction to enhance workers’ responsiveness in emergency situations.



The paper relies on a comparative analysis between traditional and smart signage models, focusing on three main dimensions: guidance efficiency, visual appeal, and response speed. The results show that AI-powered signs achieve improvement in response time and reduce human error in interpreting instructions .



International standards such as OSHA 1910.145 and ISO 7010 were utilized to evaluate the effectiveness of smart signage compared to conventional ones. The study provides a practical framework for designing intelligent guidance systems that adapt to various industrial environments, taking into account economic feasibility and ease of integration with existing infrastructure. It also offers recommendations for the adoption of these technologies in occupational safety
