Abstract

The design process is complicated and intricate. In order to examine the factors that shape design thinking and its philosophical aspects, it is necessary to look further into the context in which art originates. This study offers an investigation of how the environment influences the designs of jewellery and furniture. It examines the materials, beliefs, and design symbols used in both fields to better understand the design connection between jewellery and furniture. Particularly during the renowned artistic period in Egyptian history known as the Ancient Egyptian era. In summary, this study examines the psychological and mental effects of the environment on designs resulting from interactions with the environment. The study examined the designs of jewellery and furniture from ancient Egypt. It concluded that there was a clear connection of inspiration between the design elements of both types of objects throughout that time period. Artists in the present day have increasingly embraced the use of artificial intelligence in arts and design as their primary source of inspiration. Numerous specialized platforms enable the creation of new artistic images and designs based on the user's input. The research utilises the findings obtained from the Midjourney artificial intelligence platform to establish connections between furniture and jewellery designs and elucidate the philosophical aspect in both traditional and modern designs.
