Abstract

This research aims to explore how to utilize medieval royal crowns as an entry point to promote the teaching of metal works techniques using the art of honorary art within artistic education programmes.

Although royal crowns are important as cultural and historical symbols, their role in artistic education remains limited.

Arts education programs often focus on modern techniques without reference to historical arts as a source of inspiration, this approach leads to the loss of a basic opportunity for students to understand traditional arts more deeply, and to utilize them to develop their creative skills.

The research proposes to provide an innovative educational methodology that combines history and art, giving students an opportunity to inspire and apply artistic heritage in the production of contemporary works, through applied study, the historical designs of these crowns are combined with traditional honorary techniques, contributing to the development of students' applied arts skills and deepening their attachment to artistic heritage.

The research seeks to develop an educational curriculum that combines historical aspects with practical application, giving students broad opportunities for creativity and innovation.

The results of the study showed that this approach contributes to enhancing students' artistic understanding and helps them develop their technical skills in a renewed educational environment, enriching their experience and enhancing their appreciation of cultural heritage.
