Abstract

This research investigates the application of sustainable art techniques in creating artistic visual works, focusing on three-dimensional wooden models and paintings. The goal is to merge artistic elements with functional processes, making art more accessible and engaging for non-specialized audiences. By utilizing environmentally friendly materials and methods, such as natural dyes and recycling, the study aims to produce sustainable artworks that resonate with the environment and enhance the connection between art and design.

Inspired by the Bauhaus school’s philosophy of integrating pure art with functional design, the research seeks to enrich public taste and artistic awareness within Egyptian society. It emphasizes the importance of balancing artistic and practical elements in creative designs. A survey conducted with 77 participants from diverse cultural backgrounds revealed significant insights: 50% found the compatibility of artistic products with society important, 73% expressed interest in supporting local artists, and 40% valued the practical aspects of artistic items.

The survey results indicated that 42% of participants would be willing to pay more for sustainable artistic products, highlighting a growing appreciation for quality and craftsmanship, which 73% identified as crucial factors in their purchasing decisions. Overall, the study underscores the potential of sustainable artistic practices to bridge the gap between art and society, fostering a deeper connection and promoting cultural values through innovative design.
