Visual art plays an important and effective role as a problem-solving method in design education as it is one of the most stimulating means of creativity and innovative thinking. Visual art encourages creative and imaginative thinking and can motivate students to seek new and innovative solutions to design problems. It also works on developing visual and aesthetic skills by learning visual art, which helps students develop their aesthetic and visual skills, thus qualifying them to understand the basics of design and apply them in solving problems in an effective manner. Visual art can also enhance interaction and communication between students, as artworks can be a way to express ideas and feelings, stimulate dialogue and creative exchange, and stimulate logical and analytical thinking as the process of creating visual artworks requires logical and analytical thinking, and this can contribute to the development of students' abilities in solving design problems. Therefore, this research aims to provide a proposed educational strategy to employ visual art as a way to solve problems in design education, and the research follows the descriptive approach in studies related to visual art and design education, and the research assumes that the application of the proposed strategy using visual art as a means of teaching design, students' skills in creative thinking and problem solving will be enhanced comprehensively and effectively.
