Abstract

We believe that in recent decades the world has witnessed great developments in various fields of technology, including the field of artificial intelligence (AI), which has brought about a radical change in many different fields, including the visual arts.

We find that heritage in the visual arts includes works that reflect the history and culture of societies, such as the Pharaonic, Islamic, and Coptic arts in Egypt. These arts are expressed in symbols and patterns with deep cultural and historical connotations.

Modern and contemporary arts also include new artistic styles and innovative technologies, such as experimental arts, conceptual art, and digital media, which reflect technological and social development.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can generate new works of art that combine heritage elements with modern technologies, opening new horizons for artistic creativity. For example, deep learning techniques can generate new images inspired by Pharaonic or Islamic art.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) contributes to archiving artworks in ways that allow them to be better accessed and analyzed.

We also find a trend among some artists to produce works using artificial intelligence (AI) in experimental artistic projects that combine heritage and technology. These projects can produce new works of art that reinterpret heritage in modern ways. Therefore, we find it a powerful tool for analyzing and developing visual arts, by integrating heritage with modernity. This integration can open new horizons for creativity and preservation of cultural heritage.
