Egypt announced the Vision 2030 project, which reflects the country's long-term strategic plan to achieve the principles and goals of sustainable development (SDGs) in all fields. Therefore, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, with the participation of the Ministries of Local Development and Planning, and the Industrial Modernization Center, launched a project to develop the black honey industry cluster in Qena Governorate to localize the industry and increase exports to global markets. The project aims to localize the industry and increase exports to global markets. The research focuses on designing a sustainable packaging system for the Egyptian black honey product made from the sugarcane plant. The study was carried out in several stages, starting with a survey of the product, industry development stages, and current packaging systems. The study concentrated on the packaging's structural and visual design. Completed visual designs verify the naturally healthy Egyptian product's appearance and showcase its uniqueness. The modern structural package designs were created using new volumes and shapes and sustainable materials, such as glass jars, plastic jars, and tin containers. New packaging designs, such as tetra packs and sachets, were proposed to increase the product's spread and marketing value. The researcher recommends creating a standard for the quality of black honey product packaging that complies with international specifications and completing the partnership in the next stages of the project.
