Abstract

The research discusses the importance of virtual reality in modern manufacturing, which relies entirely on digital technologies. The role of virtual reality lies in completely analyzing product parts, conducting tests, and inspecting them, as well as knowing the strengths and weaknesses and ensuring their quality in the virtual environment to ensure their suitability and fulfillment of customer needs and functions. Virtual Reality is also changing the way we interact with the world. This technology is also changing the way products are manufactured. Virtual reality has penetrated all manufacturing facilities and companies, leading to amazing revolutions in the world of manufacturing and its quality in the future. Quality control and assurance are critical elements in manufacturing processes. Hence, virtual reality in manufacturing (VR) is one of the promising technologies for improving quality control and assurance, as VR allows manufacturers to simulate real-world scenarios, test products, and identify potential defects before they turn into problems. This can save time and money by avoiding the need to build physical prototypes and conduct expensive testing. This research discusses how to use virtual reality in manufacturing, some of the benefits it offers, and its impact on the quality of products. The research aims to use virtual reality in the field of design and manufacturing as a step before actual manufacturing. As well as the impact of quality as a next step in the manufacturing process in testing products and their quality and conducting inspection and tests on them before the manufacturing process and mass production.
