Abstract

The research studies the trend of minimalism in the design of digital user interfaces of websites. The word "minimal" grew in the field of digital interface design in the early 21 st century, Minimalism introduces reductionism and simplicity as an attempt to prioritize content, and when applied correctly can help focus design to simplify user tasks and create a positive user journey. It has become more than just a buzzword among digital interfaces in the past ten years, Minimalism design aesthetics have quickly gained popularity and respect. Among the users of these interfaces, most user interface design experts agreed that simple design brings designers closer to their goal, Only the necessary visual elements and content should be included.



The research lays the foundations that must be followed when designing digital user interfaces for phone applications according to the trend of minimalism, the quality of which affects the success of these interfaces. The research also addresses the design tools used to achieve usability.



The research problem revolves around how to employ the principles of minimalism in designing digital interfaces for websites with the aim of achieving Usability. The research follows the descriptive approach followed by an analytical study of a website application model based on design based on the minimalist approach. The research reached the principles of minimalism in designing websites and its positive impact on usability. These principles are: Using limited or monochromatic color palette, Flat patterns and textures, Maximized Negative Space and Dramatic Use of Typography to Communicate Hierarchy.
