Aesthetic and functional values in the personal artistic experience “Aberon” (Descriptive-analytical study)

Abstract

The research deals with the description and analysis of an artistic experience that was displayed in the small exhibition hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor under the title “Those who pass by and only the beautiful effect remains.” This is the moral and social value that was addressed in the artistic experiment “Throughout” during which “26” print works were displayed in the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts. In Luxor, using the printing technique of twelve linoleum “Relief printing”.The processing and techniques of backgrounds on paper have also varied and these works of art have been employed practically, using the simplest and least material capabilities and costs, while taking advantage of modern technological developments in the fields of graphic arts, printing, and electronic marketing. The experiment included ten basic calligraphy designs, which bear the character and identity of Egyptian society, some of which are linked to the popular character, and others to religious belief. They were used in a small commercial project by producing artwork and printing them on various simple products such as a T-shirt, mug, medal, lampshade, and other applied products. The researcher used the study of the sociology of art and the sociology of the public to identify the tendencies and desires of the target audience. The research highlighted the importance of graphic art and its effective and influential role in contributing to solving societal problems with various topics, whether economic or moral.
