Abstract

The research assumed that studying the concepts of reduction can contribute to enhancing artistic creativity in ceramic formation, through a deeper understanding of artistic analysis and deconstruction and their application in the formation processes. It appears The importance of the research is that it is considered an introduction to introducing those interested in the field to a wide range of reduction concepts, whether in art or in other fields, and an introduction to producing creative and innovative ideas to benefit from the concepts of reduction in the field of art education in general and ceramics in particular. A set of approaches were reached through which Investing in the philosophy of reduction in the field of ceramics, whether in the planning and design stage or the implementation and finishing stage, the most important of which are as follows: reduction in ceramic construction through the use of simple geometric shapes, reduction in construction by trying to codify the parts of the work and trying to repeat them, reduction in ceramic construction taking into account the function that was set Working for it, reduction in ceramic construction while cutting out parts that can be dispensed with functionally, reduction in ceramic construction and cutting out what lines can be dispensed with, reduction in texture treatments, reduction in the use of colors and confinement to basic colors, reduction in the use of tools whenever possible, Reducing work steps to save time, effort and money
