Puppet theater is one of the most important educational and cultural means that can be relied upon in developing the culture of the Egyptian child, and it is one of the means that can be relied upon to develop many creative skills among children in many cultural, artistic, musical, and other fields. It can discuss various problems and presenting them with information and moral values in a manner that is likable and enjoyable to them and remains firmly in their memory. Interestingly puppet theater performances with a sufficient number of performances contributes to combating the negative effects of electronic games that negatively affect the child's psychologically and make his behavior aggressive. Where most of the games depend on the element of enjoying killing, vandalism and assault, and the addiction of children to these games causes the emergence of behavioral problems represented in nervousness, mood swings, mental wandering and dullness. In this study a questionnaire was prepared to measure the effect of puppet theater on children and measure its role in combating children’s addiction to games.
