Abstract

Graphic designs of distinguished quality in national and institutional printing production have witnessed tremendous development, as they are among the types of publications that must be secured against counterfeiting, such as paper currencies, checks, bank checks, etc., especially postage stamps, which are the subject of study. Advertising and tourism for the country that produced it, and it is considered a mirror that reflects the identity and heritage of peoples as well, and therefore its production must be characterized by high quality, starting from the design process, to the production process and the sequential steps in between. For all these reasons, we can say that the process of designing and producing postage stamps is one of The most important techniques that must be studied by designers, which start from the design stage up to printing presses, so that the design comes out to production and has all the security and aesthetic elements that ensure its success in performing its functions, whether at the economic or media level. The design and production process must be subject to quality control and control over The final product of postal stamp design through certain standards and patterns placed on this production depending on its importance and functions, and this is usually done by setting standard specifications for the level of quality required to be achieved.
