Abstract

Interactive products have become very widely used, hence; interactive design has become essential in many aspects of the daily life through digital products and systems designated for both work and leisure. Therefore; wearable interactive technology, as well as smart and interactive jewelry have been developed by integrating computer technology into clothes, shoes, watches, eyewear ... etc.

Digital jewelry which hides technology inside contemporary accessories is a promising approach in the field of wearable technology, because they are worn close to the human body and within the personal space of the person wearing them; which gives it a level of intimacy that may not be available in other devices.

In coherence with the health care initiatives of his Excellency the president of the republic aiming to detect and treat chronic diseases; this study attempts to develop wearable smart jewelry which can provide advanced health care for people with chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, blood pressure, liver and kidney failure, cancer) and people with special needs (e.g. autism, epilepsy); who need special medical care and have a history of accidents and need for emergency care, in order to provide them with the proper first-aid as soon as possible when needed.
